Welcome to the website of Masago Dai-ichi Junior High School, a municipal secondary school in Chiba City, Japan. Opened in 1973 as the first secondary school to be located in Chiba's Kai-hin New Town area; a residential district developed on a flat land reclaimed in Tokyo Bay area, the Masago Dai-ichi Junior High School marks its 37th year of establishment this year. This homepage contains information on various programs in our school including both formal and extra-curricular activities participated by the students. Whereas the Masago Dai-ichi Junior High School has an international student exchange program with middle schools in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA, it is our hope that this homepage will be of help in promoting further communication and collaboration with all those concerned in Norwalk, CT. | 真砂第一中学校のホームページをご覧いただき有難うございます。 本校は検見川海岸を埋め立て造成された千葉海浜ニュータウンの中にあり、昭和４８年創立、３７年目の中学校です。 ホームページは、学校の教育活動や生徒達の活躍の様子を皆様にお知らせすると同時に、毎年実施しています国際交流事業（毎年２週間程度、交流生がホームステイし、学校生活を共にする事業。ただし、平成２１年度は新型インフルエンザのため中止 ）の際に利用する資料も併せて掲載してあります。 この資料は交流の相手校である米国コネチカット州ノーウオーク市の中学校でもご覧いただき、インターネットを通じた国際交流活動にも役立っています。 |
