| The 30th Anniversary Celebration: On October 19, 2002, the Masago Dai-ichi Junior High School in Chiba, Japan celebrated the 30th anniversary of its establishment, in a ceremony held in the school gymnasium with all the current students, their teachers and parents in attendance. Also invited to the ceremony as special guests were the past principals and other teachers, as well as representatives of various government bodies and local community members. The ceremony was followed by a cultural show organized by the students, including live brass band and chorus performances, English language speeches, reports and exhibits of the results of various special studies conducted by the students. |

昭和４８年に創立した本校は、去る平成１４年に３０周年を迎えた。それを記念して
続いて行われた文化発表会では、作成中の真砂一中ホームページの紹介や英語のスピーチ、そして「総合的な学習の時間」に調査した成果を発表しあった。１,２年生は、国際理解分野で、３年生は、修学旅行で出かけた飛騨高山のことについて調べた結果を３０周年記念品のプロジェクターでスクリーンに映したり、実物を示したりしながら、堂々と発表した。また、吹奏楽部の演奏コンサートも大好評でした。 |

 文化発表会では１階のフロアに「総合的な学習」や理科自由研究などの成果や、選択学習家庭科等の作品の展示を行った｡ |
 美術の学習での作品も展示。更に、育成委員会・保護者会等の地域の方々の作品も展示された。 |
